Brad and Claire are gearing up for a relaxing Christmas Eve full of cookies, cocoa, and cheesy holiday flicks. But their quiet night is interrupted when an alien crash-lands in their backyard. The couple soon discover that this alien named Zarus is not only a threat, but a lost traveler grieving the loss of his war-torn planet and soulmate. Just as they begin to connect, their nosy neighbor Mrs. Quinn shows up with the police. As tensions rise, the characters each confront what it means to belong. 

Quirky, heartfelt, and socially relevant, Phone Home for the Holidays reimagines the holiday special through the lens of found family, intergalactic loss, and radical empathy.
